		3.	James McDowell Beale; the oldest of seven children born to Joseph Beale and Margaret McDowell, James was named for his grandfather, Capt. James McDowell who was still living. He is mentioned in his grandfather's will (proved in 1815). James was born in Philadelphia in 1811. On December 18, 1838, he married Elizabeth Miller Fairlamb, the daughter of George Ashbridge Fairlamb and Anetta Miller and they settled in Chester County, where they raised seven children. There may have been an eighth child, James, born in 1850 and died soon after. Elizabeth was born 11-17-1819 and died 12-17-1893 in Caln township, Chester County. 			4.	Joseph Beale; the oldest of seven children born to James McDowell Beale and Elizabeth Miller Fairlamb, Joseph was born in Chester County in 1839 and named for his grandfather, Joseph Beale who was still living. On November 30, 1887, Joseph married Emma Hatfield, the daughter of Abram Hatfield and Sarah M. Patterson. She died in 1909 and he died in 1922. It is not known if they had any children. 			4.	George Fairlamb Beale; the second of seven children born to James McDowell Beale and Elizabeth Miller Fairlamb, George was born in Downington, Chester County, PA in 1842 and named for his grandfather, George Ashbridge Fairlamb. On July 1, 1866, George married Mary Potter Dickinson, the daughter of Alphonso C. I. Dickinson and Julia Wager Baker. Mary was born February 8, 1845 in Pennsylvania and died May 5, 1927. George and Mary had 7 children before George died in 1924 in Coatesville, Chester County, just a few miles from Capt. James McDowell's farm and they are buried in Fairview Cemetery. 				5.	Horace Alfonsus Beale; the oldest of seven children born to George Fairlamb Beale and Mary Potter Dickinson, Horace was born in 1867 in Pennsylvania. As of 1880, he was living in Southside, Appomattox County, Virginia. His middle name might have been Alphonso or Alfonso. He married Katherine Sharples White. Joseph Robert Beale; the second of seven children born to George Fairlamb Beale and Mary Potter Dickinson, Joseph was born in Virginia 1869 and was probably named for his great-grandfather, Joseph Beale. The origins of his middle name are more uncertain. As of 1880, Joseph was living in Southside, Appomattox County, Virginia. Joseph became a minister, possibly of the Whips Cove Christian Church in Fulton County, Pennsylvania. He married Charlotte I. Ely who died in June, 1899. They had no children and Joseph remarried Ella Compton James, the daughter of Compton James and Sarah, on January 19, 1905 and they had 6 children. Ella was born in 1871 and died in August 12, 1949. She married Roy Owen Yarnall and they had three children. Roy was born in Pennsylvania on January 7, 1911 to Chandler Pennington Yarnall and Mary Anna Kemble.
